Carol Worthington-Levy is an accomplished artist, writer, and photographer whose work radiates creativity, passion, and authenticity. With a dynamic approach to mixed media, she transforms discarded papers, paint, and even fragments of her own paintings into evocative works of art. Her mission is clear: to create pieces that spark emotion and resonate deeply, offering a unique and often whimsical perspective of the world.
Carol’s art goes beyond representation — it is a celebration of discovery, community, and the joy of endless possibilities. Working in series, she explores themes in depth, demanding growth and innovation with every piece.
Artistic Journey & Expertise
Carol has honed her craft across the U.S. and in Rome, Italy. A graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania (BS Art Ed, Painting, Fabric Arts), she expanded her expertise with graduate studies at Tyler School of Art, UCSC, and SJSU, and through the Intensive Studies Seminar in Taos, NM. Carol also teaches and consults on color theory and imagery for marketing, sharing her knowledge at international conferences and SJSU Continuing Education.
