Mixed Media
During my Traditional Watercolor years, I would at times wring my hands over how to show a concept using less literal methods. Once I started doing collage, under the tutelage of the brilliant late Gerald Brommer and Carrie Burns Brown, I found the missing piece. I love doing straight collage, but there is something very unique in my hands with mixed media. My massive trove of papers and object, many made from discarded watercolors and wine labels, is a treasure chest that adds richness to the concepts I create.
