Many artists close-down when an event like the Pandemic hits – it’s a shock to the creative soul to see everything come crashing down, and the loss of life, especially among friends and colleagues, is stifling.
That being said, I’ve been extremely productive this past year, as creating art is a great escape for me. An opportunity to find joy despite the sorrow, and hope in desperate times. The joy of my memories and the hope for our future had me produce works with colorful line and shape, and even humor as I painted homages to my many new adventures in my kitchen with bread baking and discovering new foods, etc. It seemed that my production in my kitchen helped provide neighbors some extra love via fruit breads, pizza crusts and sourdough loaves.
I hope you will enjoy the show as you see it here. It will only be up until March 31, 2021 but I’ll keep it online here to remind me of how much fun it was to have a one-man show after so many years.
